Production schedule

Production schedule

Week 1
I work on the rough drafts for my main task, thinking about cover lines, the name of my magazine, where I would do my photo shoot, the model I would use for my shoot and the layout of where things would be place on my front cover of the magazine
Week 2
I took the majority of my photos for my magazine mainly photos for my front cover. I selected the main images that would be likely that I used.
Week 3
I started to produce my front cover for my magazine, starting with editing the main cover image
Week 4
I carried on editing the main cover image, also adding the background, cover lines, date, price, bar-code and also using an online website called da font to select a variety of fonts to use in my magazine
Week 5
I place each piece of text and images in line with the set rulers that I laid out so that everything was inline with each other and looked neat at modern. I then started on my contents page and editing the image which was needed.
Week 6
I continued to edit my image, also making the feature article section of the contents page. I then added the correct spacing between each paragraph of text and lining them up same as the cover lines. After that I made the review section of the magazine meaning that I had to have another photo shoot using a different model to have a variety of images.
Week 7
I started on making my double page spread, first of all having to do another photo shoot as I wanted the perfect image. I then edited this image and adding a drop shadow to create a certain connotation.
Week 8
I carried on with my double page spread, writing the article on word then copy and pasting it in to Photoshop. I separated the text into three, leaving three columns of text. I aligned the columns so that each column was the correct distance apart. I added the title and a sub heading for the article, using new fonts that I downloaded from da font.
Week 9
I then made little changes on each page, for example adding page numbers, just little things that I missed out. Also making sure that each of my products suited its target audience
Week 10
Made one final change of the images which was to bring  down the brightness and contrast that just slight makes the model look darker.
