Durning the production of my magazine assignment I have learnt many new skills in different soft wears. The main soft wear I used was photoshop, before I had to design my front cover, double page spread and my contents page, I had never used photoshop so everything was new to me. Everything I done on photoshop, to allow me to try and get the best possible outcome was new to me so at first it was hard as I didn't understand how to use the program. I was taught new ways to do certain outcomes, which would either enable me to do the task quicker or so that the quality of what was doing would be better. For example, after taking my photos I put them onto photoshop and I had to cut around the model. This was harder said than done as I had a green screen to take the images on, therefore getting rid of every aspect of green on the image was hard. But I learned an easy way to do it. I used the magic tool to erase the green background but round the hair there was still hints of green left. I then used a small brush tool and put the opacity down then carefully and slowly going round the shape of the model where the green hints where with the brush tool. I zoomed in very closely so that i did not remove any of the image which was needed. There are many new Features I have learned and by learning these I have enabled my final products to be the best of my ability.

 The fonts on photoshop are very basic and intertextually to microsoft fonts. Therefore I used an online website to download the fonts that would appeal to my target audience. I could only temporarily use the application so every time I used photoshop I had to install the fonts onto the application. There were many various fonts on the online website so I had a variety of choice so I would have the best possible font to appeal to my target audience.

 To make some of my evaluation and my planning, I used a website called prezi, it is similar to power point but is all on one page but flows as though it is in slides. The reason I used this online soft wear was because of the modern effect it has.

 I used a cannon dclr to take images of my model for my magazine products, before this i had never used a high tech camera so all the technology was new to me. I learned how to focus the camera to the best of its ability, how to attach the camera on to a trip pod which allows the image to be 100% straight and finally I learned the different types of shots that could be taken for example weather to zoom the camera in, so that the image was a close up, or to have the camera zoomed out so you get a full shot of my model.
